Rangler Stuckey
Sustainable Roots Landscape Co. was founded by Rangler, a Wyoming native with a deep respect for the land and a lifelong appreciation for hard work, good design, and community. After years in the construction industry and time spent on ranches and job sites across the West, Rangler brought his knowledge and values to Denver with one goal: to build sustainable outdoor spaces that make people feel at home.
What started as a solo operation has grown into a trusted landscaping team known across the greater Denver area for craftsmanship, creativity, and care. Over the last seven years, Rangler has expanded his team and completed more than 100 projects, all with the same guiding principles: honor the land, listen to the customer, and get every detail right. If you’re lucky, you might get a visit from Jerry, Rangler’s dog and unofficial job site supervisor. Equal parts napper and morale booster, Jerry’s been part of the crew since day one, and clients love him almost as much as we do.

Johnny Jimenez
Since 2011, Johnny Jimenez has forged his path in landscaping innovation and leadership, from early fieldwork to leading complex commercial property care. Today he manages commercial operations for Sustainable Roots with an emphasis on quality, sustainability, and exceptional client service. His approach centers on landscape longevity while ensuring every site meets consistently high standards.
Johnny is deeply committed to growing capable, motivated crews. He mentors his teams to take ownership of their work, believing that strong results come from people who are trained well and proud of what they do. He also is committed to staying on the leading edge of industry advances, partnering with suppliers to test new materials and technologies that can bring long-term value to his clients. What began years ago with a simple love for mowing and crisp field striping grew into a lasting appreciation for outdoor design and the details that make spaces feel alive. Away from the job, he spends his time outdoors with his wife and two children fishing, hunting, and barbecuing.

William Hartill
William plays a pivotal role at Sustainable Roots, where he directs every aspect of the maintenance department with a steady focus on quality, safety, and client satisfaction. Over the past seven years in the green industry, he has built a reputation for reliable service and thoughtful leadership. His work spans coordinating with account managers to deliver exceptional results, guiding staff development and training, and enforcing high safety standards across the team.
A graduate of Michigan State University with a bachelor’s degree in Forestry and a minor in Environmental Sustainability, William also holds a QS License, is a certified Master Gardener, and maintains credentials in Sustainable Landscape Management. This technical foundation, paired with an ecological mindset, informs the care he brings to each property. Outside of work, William enjoys time outdoors hiking and visiting mountain towns, balancing his love of nature with reading and spending time with his family and dogs.
